The impressive buildings of the ancient Egyptians testify to their mastery of geometry and architecture. It was therefore natural to combine the geometric shapes of these monuments in a kilim design. Inspired by the massive blocks of stone found in pyramids, temples and obelisks, the result is a three-dimensional and colourful design with a fascinating visual dynamism.
