In the south of Egypt, near Aswan, lies the first cataract of the Nile, set in one of the country’s most beautiful landscapes. The Nile cataracts are rapids that stretch between Khartoum and Aswan. Our kilim design, with its colourful curved surfaces, captures the grace and power of the water as it flows past rocks and islands in the Nile Valley. The kilim design brings these picturesque scenes to life, giving the rug – and the room in which it is placed – a special dynamism.
