The studio is conveniently located in Vienna’s 7th district – the place where you can experience our kilims outside of your screen. Here you will find all the designs from the online shop as well as some exclusive pieces that are not available online. You can compare colours, feel the texture of the wool and get a sense of how a kilim might look in your home.
The studio is usually open during normal office hours, but to be on the safe side, it’s best to book an appointment or send me a quick message to let me know when would suit you. This will give us enough time to answer any questions, go through sizes and colours together, or simply let you be inspired.

The studio offers a curated selection of Nilo Kilims – all the designs you know from the online shop, plus a few exclusive pieces that are not (yet) available online. You can take many of the kilims home with you straight away or, if you prefer, have them delivered to your home. The studio is the place to go for anyone looking to buy modern kilims in Vienna or planning a custom-made piece.
No pressure, no commitment: a visit does not oblige you to anything. Take your time to look around and be inspired.

In our online configurator, you can try out different colour combinations and sizes from the comfort of your own home to find the kilim that best suits your needs.
If you like, take photos of the room where the kilim will be placed and roughly measure the size that will work. Many customers mark the possible area on the floor to better estimate which dimensions will look right. A little tip: lay out sheets or blankets in the appropriate size. This will quickly give you a good feel for which size feels right.
